Find out about FINDS

FINDS was set up  in 1998 by Hazel Gordon and reflects her commitment to developing the food and drink industry in the North.

Growing up on a tradtional family hill stock farm in the Highlands of Scotland means Hazel inherited an interest in fine quality, locally produced food. It's an interest that she can enjoy every day in her work as a qualified food technologist throughout the Highlands and Islands.  FINDS specialises in Product & Packaging Development, Food Safety and Quality Assurance across all sectors of the food and drink industry. Short, practical training courses are also organised and delivered.

FINDS is proactive in the Highland and Island food economy and has been involved in providing many local food and drink businesses with the knowlege and procedures that they need to make the most of markets open to them. Hazel has been an active member of the steering group of Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Forum since it began.

Start-up or SALSA with FINDS

FINDS has used unsurpassed knowledge of the local food sector, based on a hands-on and proactive approach.  By working with FINDS, businesses have developed innovative products, achieved accreditations, won new business in a range of markets, undertaken training opportunities and benefited from working together.  Regular training courses are available in all FINDs areas of expertise - there are more details available on my Training webpage.
